‘Mone’ will jump onto the Municipal green this afternoon Fair ThursdaySeptember 7, to compete in one more edition of the ‘Villa de Monesterio’ Trophy in front of the Ventas de Las Pajanosas Sports Club. The championship, which this year reaches its 51st birthday, is already a classic that puts an end to the preseason and kicks off the yellow team’s sporting course.
On this occasion, the club from the Sevillian town of Las Pajanosas will visit the brand new grass of the Monesterio Municipal Football Stadium starting at 8:30 p.m. It will be the second time that both teams meet, after they already played last Friday for a trophy with similar characteristics on the green of Las Pajanosas, where the yellows became champions.
The club reports that there will be bar service throughout the match and that the price of admission will be two euros per person.
The yellows are back at it after going through a complicated season, this time with a renewed board and with the return of Aurelio Bielsa as head of the locker room, among other changes.
Juveniles
The ‘Mone’ quarry already competed this Tuesday afternoon for its particular ‘Villa de Monesterio’ trophy, which this year was played for the second time for this category. A cup that went from the youth of the Unión Cultural La Estrella to Los Santos de Maimona, after beating the yellow team.
