The league returns tomorrow Sunday, January 30, to the Municipal Stadium of Monesterio for the first time this year. The ball will start rolling again after the presence of covid-19 in the yellow squad prevented the celebration of the match scheduled for last week, also at home, against the Unión Cultural La Estrella.
Thus, with the team recovered, the fourteenth day of the competition will pit the Monesterio Sports Club against the Zafra Sports Club. With twenty-five points for the visiting team, and ten for Mone – of course, with one game less -, both will fight for victory from the twelve of mid day.
In this sense, six positions separate the two rivals in the ranking of the Group 4 from Extremadura First Division in which they militate. On the one hand, CD Zafra occupies the fourth place, and comes from drawing against CD Santa Marta. Meanwhile, the yellows are placed in the danger zone, tenth, after losing on the twelfth matchday by four goals to one at the CD Usagre stadium. On the other hand, it is worth remembering that the match played between both teams in the first round left a score of two goals to one at Zafra’s house.
Without knowing what will happen tomorrow, Aurelio’s people have been working all week to prepare what could become the first win of the year and the second at home so far in the competition.
