The current generation of Opel Astraalready developed under the mantle of Stellantis, shares a platform, engines and technology with the Peugeot 308. The German model has a more sober design and more space in the rear seats. In addition, the driving position is more traditional than in the 308, something that may please all those drivers who are not convinced by Peugeot’s i-cockpit.
For this video test, we have had the diesel variant of the Astra associated with a manual gearbox. The features are good and the consumption figures are excellent, with a average of 5.5 l/100 km.
